Eugene had the worst luck....he had to leave late for the trike in because he was waiting and waiting for his promised but long overdue parts...then while flying down the freeway he had a rear tire blow.  They had to stay overnight in Bakersfield as it was too late everything was closed up.  In the morning he got a new tire and completed the ride into Madera.
 He wasn't hurt but the frame of his trike was cracked, something he didn't discover until he was at the event, participating in the games.
